Through the generous donations of people like you, the LGBT Fallen Heroes Foundation been able to fully fund the three sites at the Historic Congressional Cemetery, in Washington, DC.

Just footsteps away from the resting place of Sgt. Leonard Matlovich, the site is located in the “LGBT Corner” of the cemetery.

We are currently in the design phase of the project and are gathering ideas that would best facilitate the vision that the foundation has for the physical memorial and how to raise the funding that is needed to bring that dream into reality.

None of this would have been possible without your generous donations and we are confident that with your continued support we will be able to provide a permanent place for our LGBT Fallen Heroes to be remembered and that their service to our communities will never be forgotten!

This is a VERY big step for a non-profit as small as we are and we do not take this responsibility lightly. There is still a lot of money to be raised over the next few years to construct the memorial itself.
